The powder made of the Tungsten Disulfide can be coated using sprays. There is no need of any binders for this, and the work can be done at room temperature itself. The coating should be about 0.5 micron in thickness. There is one more method in which the isopropyl alcohol is used. This coating can be used in aerospace parts, engine of the racing car, automotive parts, marine parts, bearings, slitters, valve components, chains, cutting equipment, shafts, mold release, pistons, precision gears, marine parts, knives and slitters, and in many such components.
 

The WS2 can be utilised as the fuel cells in anode and electrolyte anode. It can also be used in the making of nano ceramic parts as it is considered to be good semiconductor. It is even used as effective as well as oil catalysts and made to work in a lot of industrial as well as laboratory applications.
 

 

Properties of Tungsten Disulfide

 

This compound comes out naturally and is known to be a rare mineral; it is even called as tungstenite. The compound is used in the procedures of hydrodenitrification and hydrodesulfurization.
